About this work:

Of everything mentioned on the home page, pixel art is where I've spent the most time. The sprites, tilesets, bitmap fonts, and animations here were drawn over some 15 years for retro shooters and Doom mods like Blade of Agony, Walpurgis, Arachnocide, and Doom Belmondo.

My home turf is low-resolution art under hard constraints: readable silhouettes at tiny sizes, restricted palettes, hand-placed dithering, and the classic Doom/Wolfenstein idiom of first-person weapon sprites, HUD mugshots, and item pickups. I draw complete, game-ready sprite sheets — walk cycles, firing and pain frames, death animations, rotations — as well as character portraits and full ASCII bitmap fonts.

Though some code could also be considered art, or constitutes a larger project that is artistic or creative in nature, for the sake of convenience and terseness, I have dubbed this page simply "Art" which contains a sampling of my mostly game-related works. My favorite medium is pixel art, so most of the samples below will be exemplary of my pixel art skills. Enjoy!
